xxxx-FI-1 Total flow

Flow measurement FI-1 measures the total flow to the tank T3.

  • Range 0…200 l/min
  • Alarms:
    • higher high not in use
    • high limit 170 l/min
    • lower low limit not in use
    • low limit not in use
xxxx-FI-2 Flow from the pump P-2

Flow measurement FI-2 measures flow from the pump P-2.

  • Range 0…120 l/min
  • Alarms:
    • higher high not in use
    • high limit not in use
    • lower low limit not in use
    • low limit not in use
xxxx-LI-3 Tank T3 level

Level measurement LI-3 measures the level of the tank T3.

Measurement range 0…100 %

Alarm limits:

  • Higher high        not in use
  • High                   95 %
  • Low                    not in use
  • Lower low          not in use
xxxx-HS-1 Shut-off valve from P-1

Shut-off valve HS-1 closes the flow from pump P-1.

M mode: The valve can be controlled by operator.

A mode: The valve is open when the Ready for start SS is chosen, and close when SS is not chosen.

Open and close limits do not exist.

xxxx-HS-2 Shut-off valve from P-2

Shut-off valve HS-2 closes the flow from pump P-2.

M mode: The valve can be controlled by operator.

A mode: A mode: The valve is open when the Ready for start SS is chosen, and close when SS is not chosen.

Open and close limits do not exist.

xxxx-HS-3 Shut-off valve to tank T2

Shut-off valve HS-3 opens the flow from the pump P-2 to the tank T2.

M mode: The valve can be controlled by operator.

A mode: The valve is close when the Ready for start SS is chosen, and open when SS is not chosen.

Open and close limits do not exist.

xxxx-LIC-1 Level controller

The controller controls the level of the tank T3 by the pump P-1. The level setpoin can be given from the display.

M mode: Output can be set 20...100% from display.
A mode: The control is on.

Interlocks

  • Output is forced to 20 %, when pump P-1 is not running

xxxx-HC-2 Flow from tank T2

The loop controls the control valve LV-2.

M mode: Operator can control the valve 0...100%
A mode: Is not in use

Interlocks

  • Not in use.
xxxx-LZ Level switches

Information to the other loops.

All the levels are OK, when:

  • Level switch LZ-1 is active (1), the level in T2 is not too high.

  • Level switch LZ-2 is active (1), the level in T3 is not too high.

  • Level switch LZ-3 is active (1), the level in T1 is not too low.

xxxx-P-1 Pump

The pump P-1 pumps the water from the tank T1 to the tank T3.

M mode: The operator can start and stop the pump
A mode: Is not in use

Interlocks

The pump can run, when:

  • level switches LZ-1, LZ-2 and LZ-3 are active
  • Emergency switch ES on display is not pushed
  • Ready for running SS button is chosen on display

Motor current [A] and speed [rpm] are shown on display.

The speed of the pump is controlled by level controller LIC-1.

xxxx-P-2 Pump

The pump P-2 pumps the water from the tank T1 to the tank T2 or T3.

The pump is running 100 %. It can not be controlled on display.

xxxx-SS Ready for Start button

Ready for Start button on the control display. The button sets the shut-off valves HS-1, HS-2 ja HS-3 to the right position and relases the interlocks for the pumps P-1 ja P-2.

1 = Ready for Start active

0 = Ready for Start inactive

xxxx-ES Emergency stop button

Emergency stop switch on the control display. Pressing the button interlocks the pumps P-1 and P-2.

1 = Emergency stop OFF

0 = Emergency stop ON
